The web domain www.tplinkwifi.net is the web domain name that is used by the TP-Link routers to access the login page of the router. The users initially had to login using the default IP address specific to their router. Many users faced trouble in finding out the default IP address of their routers. TP-Link provided the users with a solution. They now ship their routers preconfigured to use the web domain www.tplinkwifi.net instead of the default IP address. The user can still login using the default IP address but the login process via the web domain is much easier and faster. The default IP address for most of the TP-Link routers is 192.168.0.1.
How to reset the TP-Link router to factory settings ?
Sometimes the user will have to reset the router in case they forget or lose the router password. Here are the steps to reset the router:
- Locate the reset button at the back of the router. It might be labeled as Reset or Restore Factory Settings.
- Using a paperclip or something similar, press and hold the rest button for about ten seconds.
- Release the reset button after ten seconds. The LED lights at the front of the router will start flashing and once the power light turns solid green, the router will have been reset.
Warning: It is advised not to interrupt the reset process or remove the router from the power source as it might corrupt the router and may even render it useless
